Three steps to stable housing.
BSH participates in Baltimore City's Coordinated Access system through the Mayor's Office of Homeless Services (MOHS). Housing placements are matched through this system to ensure the right program for each person's specific needs and circumstances.
ⓘ BSH no longer accepts self-referrals for housing programs. The first step is always connecting with a Coordinated Access Navigator — we'll guide you through every step.
Connect with a Navigator Case Manager
The first step to accessing BSH housing is connecting with a Coordinated Access Navigator. You can do this by calling 211, walking into our Drop-In Center, or visiting one of the walk-in access sites listed below. A navigator will guide you through the intake assessment process.
Complete Coordinated Access Intake
Your navigator will complete a housing needs assessment to determine the right program for your situation. This assessment matches you to available housing resources based on your circumstances, goals, and eligibility — ensuring you're connected to the program that best fits your needs.
You'll need to bring the following documents to your intake appointment. If you don't have all of them, our team can help you obtain what you need:
Don't have your documents? Our case management team can assist with ID restoration, birth certificate requests, and Social Security documentation. Call 443-869-6867 or visit the Drop-In Center.
Receive your housing match and begin services
Once your assessment is complete, you'll be referred and matched to a BSH housing program through the MOHS Coordinated Access system. Your assigned case manager will work with you to develop a personalized service plan, set goals, and connect you to the wraparound supports you need to maintain stable housing long-term.
Every housing participant receives a structured case plan with documented goals, regular check-ins, and connection to health services, recovery resources, employment support, and community care throughout their time with BSH.
The right housing.
